Perth-born soprano Sarah Cranfield is a third-year student at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, studying piano under the direction of Anna Sleptsova. She discovered her love of singing at an early age, growing up in a musical family.
Sarah began her formal musical education with the Cottage School of Music's Musicianship and Choral program, and also studied piano and violin. Presently, she is a voice student of Sara MacIver and is very grateful for her wonderful guidance and tutelage.
Sarah is a current member of the Giovanni Consort, Summa Musica and Eneksis Vocal Ensemble, and has previously performed with St George's Cathedral Consort and Choir. Previous engagements include performances in the Perth and Adelaide International Arts Festivals. Sarah has also sung solo in concerts as part of the Government House Ballroom 'Music on the Terrace' and through Musica Amica.
In addition to performing, Sarah enjoys teaching piano and musicianship to children aged 4-12.
